The doors glided closed in front of me with a ding, the sound echoing around me. The train shuddered and then inched forward with a grinding sound, gaining speed as it pulled out of the station. I watched as it went, faster and faster, until it was out of view.
I suddenly felt a chill and pulled the sleeves of my jumper down over my hands, gripping tightly. "So, you gonna do it?" I looked sideways at Luke, I considered pretending I didn't hear him, but it was too quiet. My throat suddenly felt dry. I swallowed. "Yeah" I said,
